Steel Technician

Our client is a leading Construction Consultancy. They are now looking for a Technician to join their team in Dubai.

Roles & Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop BIM execution plans for steel structure projects.
• Create and maintain 3D models of steel structures using BIM software such as Autodesk Revit.
• Coordinate clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve conflicts in the design phase.
• Generate detailed construction drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication models for steel structures.
• Review and validate BIM models to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Conduct model-based quantity take-offs and assist in cost estimation for steel structure components.

 Preference

• Immediate Joiner is preferred
• Relevant Engineering Experience: 5 years Min.
• Chartered member status of the IStructE, ICE, or equivalent would be advantageous but working towards chartered status required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Structural or Civil) BEng or equivalent required
• BEng (Hong) Or Meng (Hong) Would be Advantageous
