Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop a robust strategic framework and process that supports Kaplan Professional Middle East's business objectives and drives market expansion and profitable revenue.
- Lead market analysis efforts to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and competitive threats in the professional education sector within the Middle East.
- Collaborate with Kaplan's global teams to ensure regional strategies are aligned with the organisation's overall mission and goals.
- Spearhead strategic projects, from conception to execution, ensuring they align with organisational priorities and deliver measurable results.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key regional stakeholders, including educational partners, government agencies, and industry leaders.
- Monitor the regional professional education landscape to proactively adjust strategies in response to market changes and regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership to the regional strategy, business development and senior leadership stakeholders, fostering an environment of innovation, operational excellence, and accountability.
- Communicate strategic insights and progress to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organisation.
- Ensure all strategic activities comply with local regulations and Kaplan's ethical standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a leadership role within the education sector or a related industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Middle East market, with expertise in regional business practices and regulatory environments.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, coupled with a results-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Leadership qualities that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the Middle East region.
