Role: RF Engineer

Contract: 12 Months and extendable

Work Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Start Date: 30 Days

Requirement:

• Guides and performs the evaluation, design and planning of the rollout of the Mobile Access Network.
• Assists in the verification of Mobile Access Network development proposals, sets priorities and schedules projects ensuring compliance to standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Provides professional guidance and support to subordinates in carrying out the assigned functions.
• Guides and performs all activities related to the development and upgrade of Mobile systems.
• Carries out the preparation and implementation of technical specifications for equipment and systems. 
• Assists in consolidation of requirements for materials and assists in preparing the reports on stores procurement.
• Guides and carries out the development and implementation of performance parameters to ensure quality of service, frequency optimization and maintenance standards of existing systems.
• Guides and carries out the analysis and acceptance testing of new/ existing Mobile Access Network equipment and systems.
• Assists in the evaluation of bids as required and prepares detailed tender documents/ schedules.
• Assists in reviewing the performance of contractors and suppliers in terms of project specifications and cost schedule.
• Advises consultants and contractors to resolve issues/ concerns impacting the plan/ design.
• Assists in the generation technical/ operational reports for superiors as required.
• Keeps abreast of new technologies, systems and developments in the Mobile Access Network Development.
• Identifies training needs of subordinates to ensure enhancement of skills.
• Provides professional guidance and support to subordinates in carrying out the assigned functions.

Minimum Qualifications/education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering/ Telecommunications/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Minimum experience:

• Minimum 4-6 year's experience in Mobile Access Network Planning
