Our client is One of the leading global companies in Online Car Selling in the region. They are now looking for an
Procurement Team Leader
to join them.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing a team of Evaluation Engineers
- Assigning leads to them and planning the inspection schedule
- Coordinating with the pricing team in ensuing the best price and getting the
procurement done accordingly
- Crafting an incentive structure that drives the evaluation engineers in delivering their
- best output
- Aligning with Evaluation Engineers in getting the targets achieved
- Building a constant source of leads in buying/procuring cars from different channels
- Ensuring a constant supply of high quality cars resulting in a strong assortment of
cars
Requirement:
- 10 years overall, with 3 - 5 years of managerial experience across
sales/procurement/operations functions in automobile industry
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of used car industry
- Strong technical expertise in understanding of engine, parts/ components, and
everything technical
- Experience in the operations/procurement/after-sales functions of major OEMs, Rent
A Car, Leasing companies etc.
- Robust network base across the buying/procurement functions in the automobile
- industry
- Language Fluency: Arabic (Preferred) and English (Mandatory)
- Responsible for managing a team of Procurement Leads & Evaluation Engineers in
ensuring a very high quality sourcing of cars on a monthly basis
- Leveraging on previous connections in the auto industry in ensuring a constant source of procurement leads
- Cultivating mutually beneficial, long-term professional relationships with the decision
makers in the buying/selling/procurement functions in the auto industry
- Coordinating with the pricing team in ensuring the best price and getting the
procurement done accordingly
- Grooming and constantly building the business/managerial acumen of Team Leads
- Crafting an incentive structure that drives the evaluation engineers in delivering their
best output
- Building the competitive landscape and market intelligence on sourcing/procurement
through regular customer (car sellers in this case) dipsticks & understanding market
dynamics.
